1. Subject of the Contract
Mebo Service AG (hereinafter âBig Green Egg Shopâ) sells the products offered in the Big Green Egg Shop to the customer (hereinafter the âContract Partnerâ) under these General Terms and Conditions (GTC) and the currently applicable delivery terms. By ordering products from the Big Green Egg Shop assortment, these conditions are deemed accepted. Deviations are only valid if expressly confirmed in writing in advance by Big Green Egg Shop.
2. Product and Service Information
Information is compiled to be as clear and customer-friendly as possible. Where details originate from manufacturers (e.g., warranties), the manufacturerâs information is binding. Big Green Egg Shop strives to provide correct and current data but assumes no liability for accuracy or completeness.
3. Prices
All prices are in Swiss francs (CHF) and, unless stated otherwise, include VAT and advance recycling fees.
4. Availability
Availability information is maintained with care; however, production or delivery bottlenecks may cause delays. All delivery time statements are non-binding and may change without notice. Delivery may become impossible if a product is no longer produced or supplied; in such case, the contract lapses.
5. Payment Terms
Unless stated otherwise, all prices are in CHF. Big Green Egg Shop may exclude specific payment methods for certain Contract Partners or without giving reasons and may apply surcharges to individual payment methods.
6. Minimum Order Value
The minimum order value is CHF 60.00.
7. Payment Methods
Payments are made online in the Big Green Egg Shop via various options (e.g., Mastercard, Visa, TWINT). To redeem a voucher, please email silvia@greenegg.ch.
8. Default of Payment
If the customer fails to meet payment obligations in whole or in part, all outstanding amounts become immediately due; Big Green Egg Shop may demand payment and suspend further deliveries. For prepayment orders, Big Green Egg Shop may cancel affected contracts automatically and without further notice no earlier than eight (8) calendar days after an unsuccessful payment reminder. From the first reminder, an administration fee of CHF 20.00 may be charged. Claims may be assigned to a collection agency.
9. Retention of Title
Delivered products remain the property of Big Green Egg Shop until paid in full. Big Green Egg Shop may register a title reservation at any time. Until then, products must be stored by the Contract Partner in resalable condition. In the case of instalment purchases, title remains with Big Green Egg Shop until the final instalment is paid. The Contract Partner must notify Big Green Egg Shop immediately in writing of third-party access (e.g., enforcement measures) and compensate for damages and costs arising from breaches of this duty and required interventions.
10. Information Disclaimer (Product, Availability, Warranty, etc.)
All information on www.greenegg.ch is updated continuously, yet no liability is accepted for printing errors, timeliness, correctness or completeness. All details are provided without guarantee and do not constitute assurances. Changes and updates may be made at any time without notice. Prior sale, model changes and price adjustments are possible at any time.
11. Liability
Claims for damages against Big Green Egg Shop and its auxiliaries are excluded to the extent permitted by law. Liability for indirect and consequential damages arising from use, malfunction or downtime is excluded. This exclusion also applies to all direct and indirect damages (personal injury, property damage and pure economic loss) caused by incorrect or unprofessional assembly, installation, adjustment, maintenance or repair by the customer. For defects, delays and damages occurring during services delivered by service partners (e.g., on-site installations), the executing company is liable.
12. Cancellations & Contract Termination
Orders are binding; cancellations by the Contract Partner are not possible. Refusal to accept goods, non-collection at a Big Green Egg Shop location, or failure to make a prepayment/part payment within 20 business days entitles Big Green Egg Shop to cancel the contract. In each case, an administrative fee of 20% of the order value (minimum CHF 50.00) plus any logistics and storage costs is due.
If Big Green Egg Shop is in delivery delay, the Contract Partner may withdraw from the contract from the 20th business day after the originally announced delivery date. Prepaid amounts will be refunded, typically within 5 business days. No claims for damages may be asserted in the event of a contract termination by the Contract Partner.
13. Data Protection
Big Green Egg Shop complies with the Swiss Data Protection Act and applicable legal norms. Customer data collected during order processing is used for internal purposes. Disclosure to third parties occurs only insofar as necessary for proper service provision (e.g., credit checks, payment processing) and may involve processing abroad by commissioned companies. Use beyond the specific mandate and disclosure to third parties by these companies is prohibited.
The Contract Partner consents to this use. Collected data may be analysed for marketing and advertising purposes. Upon request, each Contract Partner has the right to view stored data and to prohibit its use for internal marketing at any time.
14. Exchange Policy
No entitlement to exchange items exists.
15. Warranty, Statutory Guarantee & Repairs
Big Green Egg Shop provides a warranty for goods in line with manufacturersâ terms. Statutory guarantee rights remain unaffected (defects existing upon delivery may be asserted for up to two years, with burden of proof on the buyer). The choice of remedy (replacement with new defect-free goods or repair) lies with Big Green Egg Shop. Rescission or reduction is excluded where repair or replacement is possible or repeated remedy/exchange fails for reasons not attributable to Big Green Egg Shop.
The original packaging provides optimal protection and should be retained. In warranty or repair cases, devices must be sent with all accessories in the original packaging; if unavailable, they must be packaged transport-safely. Compensation claims against Big Green Egg Shop for damages due to manufacturing defects (manufacturerâs responsibility) or improper operation/handling/use are excluded. All costs for packaging and sending/transporting items to the warranty or service centre are borne by the Contract Partner. Return shipping during the warranty period is covered by the executing warranty centre (except items with on-site service).
If a returned product is found to be non-warranty, a cost estimate will be issued. If there is no response within 30 days, the product will be disposed of without further notice. Claims for damages arising from a warranty or repair case against Big Green Egg Shop are excluded.
If Big Green Egg Shop, the manufacturer, or its service centre provides a warranty service, a six-month warranty applies to repaired parts or the replaced product; if the original warranty period is longer, it applies. Warranty periods are neither interrupted nor reset by warranty services. For repairs after expiry of the standard warranty, a six-month warranty on repaired parts applies from the repair date.
16. Delivery Terms
Deliveries are generally made to addresses in Switzerland or the Principality of Liechtenstein. The shipping method depends on weight and is via Swiss Post (parcels up to 30 kg, excluding bulky goods) or a freight forwarder. Depending on the product, different options are available:

PostPac (products < 30 kg): delivery time 4â8 business days.
Shipping costs: CHF 13.50 Â |Â Shipping + FRAGILE: CHF 22.00 -
Freight (kerbside) (pallets & bulky goods > 30 kg): delivery to kerbside. Multiple items may arrive in separate consignments/days at no extra cost. Dates are coordinated directly by the carrier/manufacturer logistics; fixed time slots cannot be guaranteed. Presence of a person on the agreed date is required. Usual lead time: 4â8 business days after order or receipt of payment. Truck access must be guaranteed; if not, the last mile must be organised at own cost or a new date arranged with surcharge.
Cost incl. packaging disposal: CHF 140.00 -
Floor delivery incl. packaging disposal (pallets & bulky goods > 30 kg): delivery by 1â2 persons into the specified floor, unpacking and disposal of packaging in Switzerland. Usual lead time: 8â14 business days after order/payment (prepayment). You will be notified by email; a correct email address is required. Sufficient passage dimensions (stairs/doors/hallways) and free access are the Contract Partnerâs responsibility. A lift is required for upper floors. In very difficult circumstances (e.g., restricted access, narrow passages/doors), additional effort may be charged directly by the carrier.
Cost (weekdays) incl. packaging disposal: CHF 300.00
17. Assembly Service
For selected products (mainly grills), the âAssemblyâ option may be chosen. Professional assembly is performed at the warehouse and the grill is delivered assembled. Dates are coordinated directly by the assembly partner; fixed delivery times cannot be guaranteed and presence on the agreed date is required. Adequate access dimensions are the Contract Partnerâs responsibility. In difficult conditions (e.g., restricted access, higher floors without lift, narrow passages/doors), additional effort may be charged directly.
18. Customer Inspection Duty
The customer must immediately check delivered/collected products for correctness, completeness and integrity. Any defects must be reported to Big Green Egg Shop immediately upon discovery, but no later than five (5) calendar days after receipt/collection. The product must be kept in delivery condition and must not be put into operation.
For deliveries by a service partner, the customer confirms by signing the delivery note that there are no obvious defects; otherwise, the defect must be noted on the delivery note (excludes hidden defects). Hidden defects (e.g., transport damage) must be reported to Big Green Egg Shop in writing with photos within five (5) days.
19. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction
All business relations are governed by Swiss substantive law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Place of jurisdiction is Chur, Switzerland, subject to mandatory federal jurisdictions. For issuing a payment order and/or withdrawal requests in collection/enforcement proceedings, CHF 100.00 each will be charged.
