This cast iron all-rounder is extremely versatile. The cast iron pot from Big Green Egg is ideal for preparing stews, casseroles and soups. The cast iron distributes the heat evenly throughout the pot and the heavy lid of the Dutch oven prevents the cooking liquid from escaping. You can also use the Dutch oven without the lid, so that all the ingredients take on the unique Big Green Egg flavour. In both cases, the stewed meat remains wonderfully juicy and tender. Until then, leave the Dutch oven to braise, steam, bake, roast and/or simmer at its leisure – in the Big Green Egg, on the hob or in the oven. Are you done? Then you can put the Dutch oven in the dishwasher, but washing it by hand is best. The Dutch oven has a capacity of 5.2 litres. To keep the pot in good condition, you should grease it with vegetable oil from time to time.
