Cast Iron Dutch Oven

The Cast Iron Dutch Oven is a versatile cooking pot for braising, stewing, baking, roasting and simmering with the Big Green Egg. Made from cast iron, it distributes heat evenly throughout the pot, while the heavy lid helps retain moisture for juicy, tender results. The Dutch oven can be used with or without the lid, allowing ingredients to absorb the distinctive Big Green Egg flavour. Suitable for use in the Big Green Egg, on the hob or in the oven. The pot has a capacity of 5.2 litres and is compatible with Medium, Large, XLarge and 2XL Big Green Eggs. For best care, hand washing is recommended and the pot should be lightly oiled from time to time.
